One of my paintings, THE LAST FLOWERS has been chosen for exhibit/display in the 2021 Artwave, at the Depot, LEWES / East Sussex. It is always nice to get some praise from peers!

This website presents some of my work and lets you get to know the background to the creative processes that I use. Some of my prints are available to buy. They are marked up, signed and dated, with the run sequence.

"Soothed beneath the artist's loving hand" each line, each colour, each texture and hue, takes me to a place where my soul resides.

Lewes Castle from the Paddock

Lewes Castle from the Paddock:
Painted during March-July 2020, during the first wave of the Pandemic Covid-19 lockdown, this image is full of foliage and typical 'Lewesiana' styled houses.
But, WHERE are the people?
The people, of course, are in 'Lockdown', but remember this: "We wunt be druv, forever Govt.!"

The Celebration

'The Celebration'

Sound waves reflect the celebrations that echo around the world whether it's on New Year's eve or the Chinese New Year, Mardi Gras and so on.

Beneath the ice there might  be a different sound: the ultrasonic cries of a dolphin in distress, or a humpback whale losing its way and becoming victim to the terrible micro plastics and general destruction of its ocean habitat. Art is what YOU make of it.
